 Once excavation of the new surface adit reaches the depth required under the completion inspection standards of the Korea Mine Rehabilitation and Mineral Resources Corporation, safety support structures must be installed to prevent collapse of the excavated tunnel. As an initial step, H-beams for steel arches were purchased and cut to the required specifications.

 Currently, excavation of the new surface adit is progressing at a rate of approximately one blast per day. To maintain this excavation speed, hydraulic drill parts and consumables for excavators and payloaders were prepared and replaced as needed. In addition, a large quantity of stemming material was prepared in advance to be placed after charging explosives and detonators. The stemming material plays a crucial role in maximizing explosive force and preventing the scattering of fragments.

 Meanwhile, using previously purchased discarded parts, the blower was successfully fabricated. As explained earlier, this blower is an essential component for air intake and vortex formation in the Cyclone Separator.
