 The new surface adit has a height of over 6 meters. To achieve this height, drilling, charging, and blasting operations must also be performed in the upper section. Compared to the lower section, some areas in the upper section have different rock characteristics, and during blasting, rocks may fall in large, unfragmented blocks.

 The front attachment of the excavator was replaced with a breaker to crush large rock blocks into smaller pieces, which were then classified as ore or aggregate. The classified ore and aggregates were transported and stockpiled at their designated locations.
