Restoration work on the 1,417㎡ area to be returned to the Forest Authority has been completed,
including the construction of stone retaining walls (1–1.2 meters in height, 50
meters in total length) to prevent slope failure.
Remaining work includes slope greening with seed-spray and planting of 102 fir
trees near the check dam area.
At the 1,381㎡ Main Adit site, heavy machinery continues ground preparation. Soil and rock produced from this work are being reused to level the waste-rock stockpile. The volume of fill material has exceeded expectations, and completion of full site leveling across the permitted stockpile area is anticipated.
