The processing plant, constructed on a
16-degree slope, features an uphill retaining wall designed to prevent
landslides and erosion.
The opposite side of the wall has been compacted to create the ore-loading area
where 15-ton dump trucks will unload ore into the hopper feeding the jaw
crusher.
As backfilling behind the retaining wall increased structural pressure, the wall tilted by approximately 3 degrees toward the plant. Reinforcement work was carried out, anchoring the wall with wire ties connected to buried H-beam supports for stability.
Pipeline installation has progressed to the
cafeteria area and through to additional water tanks near the crusher and main
adit.
A 2-horsepower submersible pump was installed 60 meters underground, confirming
a stable groundwater yield of approximately 50 tons per day.
